Our dedicated team of nursery practitioners are all well-qualified, trained and DBS checked. They have had many years of experience in nurturing young minds and delivering creative and stimulating learning experiences.
Amy Lee
Nursery Manager
The team is led by Amy Lee, who has a Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Development.
Amy Lee says:
“I joined Duchess in April 2022. I am a Qualified Level 3 with 8 years experience, 5 of which are in management.
I have a little boy of my own who is in the Griffin’s room and I love seeing him be in his element with all the fun activities he gets to take part in but also see him grow and develop.
I love to see children learn new skills and milestones, and supporting my staff to reach their own ideas and goals.”

“I joined the team in May 2023. I am a new mum to a lovely little girl who is in Dragonflies. I have lots of experience in childcare, working within nurseries as management, and also within NHS operations more recently. I cannot wait to start back into nursery life, supporting my staff team and giving the children lots of great experiences.”

I am a bubbly and caring person and love spending time with the children supporting them and planning activities to help them grow. I love working at the nursery and the staff are fantastic, we all help each other, we are a family. I have 2 grown-up children 1 son and 1 daughter. I am currently working in the Dragonflies room 0-2."

I am currently based in the Dragonflies room and I enjoy supporting and encouraging the children with their development. I enjoy working in the nursery with such a friendly and supportive team. "I started in 2018 and have worked in childcare for over 10 years. I have 2 children myself who attend the nursery, both have attended the nursery, they absolutely love coming to nursery and have made such a special bond with all the staff at the nursery. I have worked in all rooms but currently work in Dragonflies 0-2. I really enjoy supporting the children and setting out fun activities to help them to move forward in their development and achieve their next progress."
